And if it was also women-owned and operated?Enter Gentilly, opened in November 2019 by SF Excelsior residents Alexis Hyatt and Sarah Duncan, whose shared love of New Orleans food, drinks, and culture inspired them to create a French Quarter-themed bar and restaurant that pays tribute to the flavors, aesthetic, and spirit of New Orleans, and bring a little bit of Bourbon St to Mission St. with Cajun comfort food and cocktails that’ll leave you feeling good from head to toe.
